In winter the family ski region of the Lungau offers a lot. Within a radius of 7-22 kilometres you have the skiing areas Fanningberg, Katschberg-Aineck, Grosseck-Speiereck and Obertauern.

Cross-country skiing region Lungau

In Mariapfarr and surroundings you can find one of the longest cross-country skiing run systems of Austria with 150 kilometres cross-country skiing runs and 70 kilometres skating runs. The fun begins at only 100 metres from the hotel.

During the winter the nature reserve Riedingtal is the aim of many tour lovers. The Preber is one of the most popular ski tour mountains of the eastern Alps. The Lungau landscape offers unique things and is a real secret hint. From winter until spring it is possible to have different ski tours and awesome ski-runs in all levels of difficulty.
